Who writes this content?
Content is written and fact checked by the Dumpster Porta Potty USA editorial team. We check container sizes, servicing intervals and price ranges against published provider rate sheets and federal guidance, then update pages when those change. We do not publish author biographies for people who do not exist, and we do not use named bylines.
Where do the figures come from?
Price ranges are compiled from published provider rate sheets across multiple markets and presented as ranges by market type, never as a quote. Every price table on this site carries the same note: your provider quotes the exact price before booking.
Regulatory figures come from the primary source. Job site restroom counts come from OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51. Accessibility requirements come from the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design. Waste handling and recycling guidance comes from the US EPA and, where relevant, the state environmental agency. Those sources are linked wherever we rely on them.
How do we label estimates?
Clearly, and separately from regulation. Event restroom ratios are a widely used planning rule of thumb and are labelled as such every time they appear. Container dimensions are described as approximate, because they vary by manufacturer. Weight allowances always say they vary by provider, because they do.
Where a figure is a rule of thumb rather than a requirement, we say so in the same sentence rather than in a footnote.
What will we not publish?
We do not publish reviews, testimonials, star ratings or review counts, and there is no review schema anywhere on this site. We are a referral service and are not in a position to verify a review of an independent provider, so we do not present any.
We also do not publish invented statistics, awards, rankings, "as seen on" claims, fabricated company names or staff who do not exist. We do not describe ourselves as licensed or insured, because we are not the contractor performing the work.
How are pages kept current?
Every content page carries a visible last updated date, currently October 7, 2026, and the same date is published in the page structured data. Price ranges are reviewed when provider rate sheets change. Regulatory content is reviewed when the underlying standard changes.
How do we handle corrections?
If something on this site is wrong, tell us at and we will check it against the source. Where we have made an error we correct the page and update its date. Where a figure has simply moved, we update it.
We would rather be told. A reference site that is wrong about a weight allowance costs somebody real money.
