Job sites follow OSHA. OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51 requires 1 unit for up to 20 workers, then 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers from 20 to 199 workers, and 1 per 50 workers at 200 or more. Hand washing has to be available where the work involves contaminants.
The two rules are different in kind. The job site figure is a legal minimum you have to meet. The event figure is a planning convention that describes average demand, and average demand is not what forms a queue.
The symptom of an under serviced unit is predictable: fine on Monday, avoided by Thursday. If crews are leaving a Albany site to find a restroom, the schedule is wrong rather than the count.
How should units be placed in Albany?
Keep Albany units within about 25 feet of where the service truck can park. That single constraint decides most placement questions on tight urban sites.
Footprint is rarely the constraint; truck access is. A unit fits almost anywhere, but a unit the service truck cannot reach generates a charge on every scheduled visit.
Wind tips unsecured units, particularly when they are nearly empty. On exposed Albany sites they should be staked, or strapped where the ground cannot take a stake.
A quote for a Albany job site normally bundles delivery, the units, weekly servicing and collection into one monthly figure. Extra visits and long carries sit outside it.

What do I do if a unit is damaged or tipped over?
Call the provider straight away. Most will right and reservice a tipped unit quickly, and damage caused by vandalism is usually covered by the rental terms.
