How do I rent a porta potty in Rochester, MN?

Which Rochester ZIP codes are covered?

Job sites follow OSHA. OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51 requires 1 unit for up to 20 workers, then 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers from 20 to 199 workers, and 1 per 50 workers at 200 or more. Hand washing has to be available where the work involves contaminants.
The two rules are different in kind. The job site figure is a legal minimum you have to meet. The event figure is a planning convention that describes average demand, and average demand is not what forms a queue.
Multi day events in Rochester are serviced nightly between sessions. That is standard practice on festivals rather than an upgrade you have to negotiate.
Where should units go on a Rochester site?
On Rochester sites with vehicle traffic, place units where a reversing truck cannot clip them and where workers do not have to cross a haul route to reach them.
Each unit needs roughly 5 by 5 feet of clear ground including the door swing, on a surface firm enough that it will not settle after a wet week.
Review the order when the crew size changes. A Rochester site carrying six units through a fit out with a crew of twelve is paying for capacity nobody is using.
Book as early as the date allows. Peak wedding and festival weekends in Olmsted County go months ahead, particularly for trailers and ADA units.

Rochester porta potty questions
Do you supply the units yourselves?
No. We are a free referral service. Your call connects you with an independent local provider who owns the units and handles delivery and servicing.
How much is a porta potty for one day in Rochester?
A standard unit for a one day event typically runs $150 to $275 delivered and collected. Flushable deluxe units cost more, and trailers are priced per day in the hundreds to low thousands.
Are urinal only units available?
Yes, and on large male heavy crowds they can cut queues significantly for less than the cost of additional full units. Ask the provider about the mix.
How much notice do you need for a Rochester job site?
A few days is usually enough for a standard unit. Trailers, ADA units and large multi unit orders need longer, particularly in peak season.
Can I move a unit once it has been delivered in Rochester?
The provider can reposition it, usually for a fee. On a long rental it is cheaper to choose a position at the start that will still work later in the project.
